Elegant, Hand-colored Variant Featuring Delicate, Manual Watercolor Washes That Bring Vibrant Life to the Skies, Costuming, and Neoclassical Architecture.

The Reverse Features the Original Studio Label of J. Pocker & Son, the Historic Upper East Side New York Framing Institution Celebrated Since 1926 for Serving Elite Galleries, Designers, and Private Collections. Additionally, the Backing Retains the Official Collection Inventory Label (No. 130) From the Private Estate of David J. Bikoff, M.D., P.A., Adding Excellent Documentation and Provenance to the Piece. A Modern Auction/Estate Barcode Tracking Sticker is Also Present on the Backing Paper.

Excellent antique condition. The print remains crisp with beautiful, vibrant hand-coloring. No notable foxing, staining, or tearing is visible under the glass. The frame is strong, structurally sound, and ready to hang with attached gallery wire. As expected with authentic antique wood/gesso frames, there are two very small, minor chips along the bottom lower lip edge exposing the white gesso beneath (see close-up photos). These are purely cosmetic, do not compromise the structure, and can be easily touched up or left as-is for authentic antique character.
