Antique F. & R. Pratt & Co. Imari Tea Cups & Saucers Set of 4 Pattern No. 60

Made in England c. 1840s–1850s.

Each Cup Approximately 2" High × 3 3/4" Diameter.

Each Saucer Approximately 1 1/4" High × 5 7/8" Diameter.

Exceptional antique English tea set by F. & R. Pratt & Co. of Fenton, Staffordshire, comprising low form four matching cups and four matching saucers (8 pieces total).

Decorated glazed earthenware in a richly colored early Imari / Oriental-inspired pattern with deep cobalt blue, iron red/orange, green enamel and gilt accents.

The cups feature shaped rims and distinctive angular handles, while the saucers repeat the bold polychrome decoration.

The undersides of the saucers carry the early printed “No. 60 / F & R P & Co” mark. No. 60 is interpreted as the factory pattern number. This abbreviated F. & R. Pratt & Co. marking is associated with the firm’s early-to-mid-19th-century production. Based on the mark, low pattern number, form and decoration, the set is conservatively presented as circa 1840s–1850s.

Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks or restoration. Please review photographs carefully for the individual condition of each piece and expected age-related wear, including possible wear to gilding and decoration.
