Antique Massive 19.5" Blue Willow Turkey Platter Unmarked Staffordshire English Transferware Flawless
Made in England 1830–1860
Approx. 2" High x 19 ½" Wide x 15 ½" Deep
Exceptional, museum-quality piece of 19th-century English transferware. This massive 19.5-inch oval turkey platter features the iconic and timeless Blue Willow pattern executed in a deep, rich cobalt blue against a crisp, bright white background.
This piece is completely unmarked with a smooth back (no impressed symbols, numbers, or stamps), a characteristic highly indicative of early-to-mid Victorian Staffordshire potteries (circa 1830–1860). During this golden age of English pottery, many smaller makers produced exquisite, heavy-grade transferware for the global market without proprietary backstamps.
Excellent antique condition, showing beautiful structural integrity with no major chips, cracks, or structural repairs. The transfer pattern remains crisp, bold, and brilliantly colored. (Please review all high-resolution photos for close-up details).
