Approximately 6" High x 4 1/2" Long x 2 1/2" Wide.
Antique Victorian English Staffordshire pottery double spill vase, circa 1850–1870, depicting a charming pastoral scene with a young couple and reclining sheep beneath two branching tree trunks.
The elaborate composition features two red-glazed spill openings, a rustic fence, applied floral and leafy decoration, hand-painted details, and a narrow gilt line encircling the oval base.
Made as a decorative spill holder for the Victorian home, this sculptural Staffordshire figure group has a distinctive double tree-trunk design.
Unmarked underside, as is common with Staffordshire figures of this period. English origin and dating are attributed on stylistic grounds.
Excellent antique condition. Wear commensurate with age. No chips or cracks.
