Made in Staffordshire, England c. 1895-1910.

Bowl Approx.  4 1/4” High x 9” Diameter at Top x 6 1/4" Diameter at Base.

Serving Pieces Each Approx. 10 1/4" Long.

Stunning, highly collectible, and fully complete 3-piece antique British salad serving set.

Features a full-sized cobalt blue jasperware salad bowl handcrafted in Staffordshire alongside its original matching silver-plated serving spoon and fork set.

The bowl was crafted by the historic William Adams & Sons pottery firm at their Tunstall works in Stoke-on-Trent. Features a vibrant unglazed dark blue stoneware body accented by a meticulously detailed, crisp white bas-relief cameo wrapping around the exterior.

The relief depicts a classic, rustic English Fox Hunting scene complete with hunters, leaping horses, rustic fences, and hounds on the chase. The bowl is structurally fitted with a beautiful silver-plated upper rim collar.

The serving utensils include the original matching two-piece flatware set (one large serving spoon and one matching three-pronged salad serving fork). The handles are made from matching dark blue unglazed ceramic with delicate white foliage reliefs, blending perfectly with the bowl. The metal business ends are sub-contracted high-quality British silver plate.

The silver necks feature clear vertical Gothic pseudo-hallmarks for Barker Brothers Silversmiths of Birmingham, including their registered trefoil clover leaf emblem enclosing 3 stars alongside the E P N S stamp (Electroplated Nickel Silver).

The set is in beautiful, clean antique condition. The interior glossy glaze of the bowl is bright and sound. The exterior white bas-relief figures are exceptionally crisp and fully intact, showing no major missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The silver plating exhibits minor, age-appropriate surface tarnish and a lovely soft patina. The ceramic joins on the flatware handles remain solid and secure. Please examine all high-resolution photos closely as they serve as the ultimate confirmation of condition and marking authenticity. Normal wear from use and age.
