Vintage Herend Blue Garland PBG Hand-Painted Porcelain Salt & Pepper Shakers Pair Models 250

Made in Hungary c. 1980s.

Discontinued.

Each Approximately 2 1/2" High x 1 1/2" Wide.

Elegant matching pair of Herend fine porcelain salt and pepper shakers in the classic Blue Garland (PBG) pattern, handcrafted and hand-painted in Hungary.

Each charming egg-shaped shaker rises from a molded pedestal foot accented with a delicate gold band.

Bright blue cornflower-style blossoms, fresh green foliage, and a slender magenta-pink garland encircle the glossy white porcelain bodies.

The complementary shakers feature different dispensing arrangements: one has a single opening at the top, while the other has a single top opening plus 9 perforations on its upper body.

Both bear blue Herend Hungary Handpainted factory back stamps and hand-applied model/pattern numbers; the pair corresponds to Herend forms 250 and 260 in the PBG pattern.

Excellent vintage condition. One has slight chip at bottom edge where it meets the base. No other chips or cracks. Please inspect all photographs closely.
