Lalique France "Chêne" Oak Leaf Frosted Crystal Tumbler Glass Signed
Made in France 1978-1990s.
Approx. 4 3/4" Height x 3 3/4" Diameter at Top x 2 5/8" Diameter at Base, 1 lb 16 oz.
Authentic, vintage LALIQUE "Chêne" Double Old Fashioned Crystal Tumbler.
Designed in 1950 by Marc Lalique, this stunning piece is a masterpiece of French luxury craftsmanship.
The heavy crystal glass features a magnificent, deep-relief pattern of frosted oak leaves (chêne is French for oak) that beautifully wraps around the exterior of the clear glass body.
This brilliant contrast between the frosted, textured leaves and the polished clear glass creates a beautiful play of light when held or filled.
While originally designed as a high-end drinking tumbler, its substantial weight and elegant form make it perfect to repurpose as a luxury beaker vase for short floral arrangements.
The bottom features the authentic, acid-etched block signature reading "LALIQUE FRANCE", confirming its post-1945 production origin.
Excellent vintage condition with clear glass, sharp frosting, and no major chips or cracks. Minor, faint surface marks on the base consistent with light handling/display. Normal wear from age. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
