Vintage Lalique France “Dendourette” Cat Crystal Figurine, designed by Marie-Claude Lalique (1935–2003)
Made in France 1991.
Approximately 6" High.
This charming Lalique sculpture depicts a cat perched on a clear crystal pedestal, its head turned upward and one paw extended. The cat is rendered in Lalique’s characteristic satin-frosted crystal, contrasting beautifully with the clear molded crystal base. The pedestal is decorated with an intricate raised foliage or fern motif, creating additional texture and visual depth.
The Dendourette cat belongs to Lalique’s group of cat sculptures designed by Marie-Claude Lalique, granddaughter of René Lalique. Period Lalique auction catalogues document Dendourette as a 1991 design and describe the model as molded-pressed crystal with a partially satin finish. The form is signed Lalique France beneath the base.
Excellent vintage condition as shown. The crystal presents beautifully with no obvious chips, cracks, or significant damage visible in the supplied photographs. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display may be present. Please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
