Simon Randers Danish Modern Carved Wood Abstract Lovers Sculpture

Approximately 17 1/2" High x 6" Long x 2 3/4" Wide.
Elegant Danish modern carved wood sculpture by Simon Randers, depicting two elongated abstract figures whose rounded heads incline toward one another. Suggestive of lovers in an embrace, the sculpture features flowing, asymmetrical organic forms rising from an integral rectangular base, with a warm polished wood finish and visible natural grain.
A distinctive example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design, attributed to the work of Danish sculptor Simon Randers, circa 1960s. The underside retains a faded ink maker's marking, partially legible in the photographs.
Excellent vintage condition. Age-appropriate surface wear and handling marks, particularly on the underside of the base. Please examine the photographs for condition.
