Antique Dorflinger "Marlboro" Pattern ABP Cut Glass Magnum Cologne Bottle 7.25"

Made in USA c1890-1910.

Approx. 7 1/4" High to Top of Stopper Finial x 4 1/2" Diameter at Widest x 4 3/4" Deep, 2.9 lb.

Exceptional, investment-grade piece of American craftsmanship: an exceptionally large, "Magnum-sized" crystal perfume/cologne globe cut by the prestigious Dorflinger Glass Company.

This piece features their highly coveted and complex "Marlboro" pattern, dating from the height of the American Brilliant Period (circa 1890–1910).

A masterful combination of deep geometric wheel-cuts. It showcases brilliant Brunswick stars nestled inside diamond fields, surrounded by incredibly fine, sharp straw-diamond crosshatching and dramatic fan motifs.

Features a spectacular, deeply cut 24-point hobstar covering the entire bottom with a sharp pinwheel star at the absolute center.

Includes its massive, original multi-faceted ball stopper. The plug is hand-ground, providing the perfect airtight, stable fit unique to this exact bottle.

Excellent antique condition. The lead crystal is beautifully clear with remarkable light refraction and no internal 'sick glass' cloudiness or liquid stains. No major chips or cracks. Stopper sits securely with no wobble.
