Approximately 1 1/4" High x 4 1/4" Wide x 4 1/4" Deep.

An elegant Royal Crown Derby porcelain covered trinket or dresser box decorated in the celebrated Traditional Imari pattern, number 2451.

The square box features richly detailed panels of stylized floral and foliate ornament in the classic Royal Crown Derby palette of deep cobalt blue, iron red, warm gold and cream, with extensive gilt decoration and a gilt rim.

The removable square lid continues the elaborate Imari decoration with alternating ornamental panels and a central reserve. The decoration extends around all four sides of the box, creating an especially attractive display piece from every angle.

Both the underside of the box and the underside of the lid bear Royal Crown Derby factory marks reading Royal Crown Derby / Made in England / 2451. The number 2451 identifies Royal Crown Derby's long-established Traditional Imari pattern.
