Beautiful vintage Copeland Spode Y2684 / W141 small serving platter styled in the vibrant, multi-colored "Willis" pattern. This Chinoiserie Floral / Indian Tree Style design draws direct inspiration from antique Chinese export porcelains, showcasing hand-painted enameled overglaze pink peonies and bright floral accents nestled over a clean transfer print base.
The reverse features a clear, stamped green crown mark indicating the famous Spode "New Stone" clay body formulation. It holds the hand-inscribed red painter numerals code alongside the rare, antique combed back potting ridge texture. The unique impressed stamp layout code (N / 48) dates this piece precisely to November 1918.
Excellent vintage condition. Colors remain crisp and vividly bright. No heavy utensil marks or deep gouges. Free of structurally threatening cracks or deep restoration work. Please see all macro-lens backstamp photographs to review exact condition markers. Normal wear from use and age.
