Vintage German Hand-Carved Stag Antler Hunting Dinner Forks Set of 8
Made in Germany c. 1950-1970.
Each approximately 7 1/2 inches long.
Striking vintage German set of seven full-size dinner forks, each featuring a genuine stag antler handle individually carved with a different animal or hunting-game motif.
No two carved handles are alike, giving the set wonderful visual variety and making it especially appealing for a hunting, lodge, sporting, or rustic table setting.
The natural stag antler retains its distinctive textured exterior on the reverse, while the fronts have been worked and carved in relief with individual animal scenes. Each handle is joined to a four-tine stainless-steel fork with a decorative silver-tone ferrule/collar. The forks are marked “STAINLESS / GERMANY”.
The style is consistent with German hunting and stag-antler table cutlery of the mid-20th century, approximately c. 1950–1970.
Excellent vintage condition. All seven stag antler handles are complete and intact with no chips or cracks observed. The carved animal decoration remains crisp and well defined. Stainless-steel fork heads present very well, with minor surface wear consistent with age and normal use. Please review photographs for additional condition details.
