Pair of vintage American sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by Newport, marked NEWPORT STERLING 1646.
Their clean, tapered conical silhouettes, polished silver surfaces, and subtly flared circular bases give the pair a refined streamlined Art Deco and mid-century modern appearance.
Each shaker has a perforated top and a removable stopper at the base. Both stoppers are included.
The understated geometric design works equally well for table service or display in a collection of vintage American silver.
Excellent vintage condition. Light surface scratches and signs of handling consistent with age and use. Please refer to photographs when available for additional condition details.
