Vintage Pair William Yeoward Scarlet Hand Blown Crystal Water Goblet
Made in Central and Eastern Europe 1990s-2000s.
Each Approx. 7 3/8" High x 3 7/8" Diameter at Top x 3 1/4" Diameter at Base. Holds Approx. 7 oz.
Made by William Yeoward Crystal Company, a luxury British company based out of London.
Hand-blown and hand-cut. Deep ruby red color throughout the bowl with a clear, architectural three-knobbed stem and circular base.
The beautifully crafted clear stem features a highly distinct stacked layout with multiple horizontal ribs or "knobs" that taper downward. This exact architectural stem design is a defining hallmark of the luxury William Yeoward Scarlet.
Discontinued Piece.
Faint "swirl" texture on the bottom is a polished pontil mark. Because these premium goblets are entirely hand-blown and hand-cut by master glass craftsmen, the swirl is a natural byproduct of polishing away the rough scar where the artisan's iron rod was broken off from the base. Finding this artifact on an unsigned base is perfectly normal for early, handmade production runs or pieces whose temporary foil labels have simply washed off over time.
Good vintage condition. Each with a very slight flea bite nick top outer edge. No other chips, nips, or cloudiness from dishwashers. Normal wear from use and age. Please see photos.
